The Mama'hood Denver, CO
What an amazing gathering place for families! Two locations: on in the Denver Highlands area and the other in Boulder, the mama'hood is one of my favorite studios for mamas because it's a one-stop-shop! You can take classes on just about anything mama and baby or parenting focused. You can get your yoga on and then shop around for those items that you may need, want or have just been curious about. Amanda Ogden and Gina Penka are super supportive and helpful. I teach Birthing From Within and Yoga here as well.

The Joy Collective,  Boulder CO
Located next to the Boulder Birth Center, this new wellness center, offers holistic care throughout fertility, pregnancy, postnatal & parenting, as well as services to improve your health through their spa. I have personally had many WONDERFULLY healing massages from Heather Lynn of A Mellow Mood who co-founded this collective.

The Birth Center of Boulder, Boulder CO
The Birth Center of Boulder is a free standing birth center offering midwifery based prenatal,  labor and delivery, and postpartum care including water birth.

Sarah Murane: Sarah is one of those mamas that I could talk to about motherhood for hours! She is a lovely birth doula and amazing Birth & Postpartum Doula AND does overnights, if you ask nicely. :)

Amanda Marshall: One of the most charming women I know, and experienced doulas, she is experienced in all different family styles and specializes in twins. She also teaches Breastfeeding and Beyond classes at A Mom's Space!

Sanctuary Doulas:  This postpartum doula collective offers a wide-range of options in their doula support. I have personally met most of their doulas and feel they all bring something special to any family after their baby has arrived.

Boulder Doula Circle: Lead by Amanda Glenn, this group of awesome doulas offers full spectrum doula care in the Denver and Boulder areas. They also have monthly meet-ups that are HELPFUL tips on various things birth and mama-oriented! They also offer amazing Newborn Care Classes by some of the most experienced postpartum doulas in the area!

From Reiki and Massage, to birth and postpartum doula support, this is a one-stop shop with some amazing women! Check out their offerings!

Faith Davis (Boulder):  Faith is a grounded massage therapist and postpartum doula. She has a great sense of humor and is a great listerner. She knows mamas and really has a gift with massage and postpartum support. If you're looking for postpartum support, please visit her website here.

Birth Assistants of Boulder: My husband Joel and I were lucky enough to have Bonnie Slater as our doula in October when we birthed our little girl! I would recommend any of the doulas listed and highly recommend Bonnie!

Doulas of Boulder: Jenevieve and Maria are two of the kindest, most nurturing women I know. They are amazing at their craft!

Amazing Care Providers in the Denver & Boulder Area!

Midwifery Care in Hospitals and Birth Centers:

Avista Midwives at Avista Women's Care - Many of my students in Lafayette have expressed a deep appreciation for the care options they have at Avista Women's Care in Louisville. I attended a beautifully supportive tough birth at Avista with the midwives and was happy to see midwifery care at it's best!

Rose Medical Birth Center: Many parents in my classes are raving about this new birth center and all the new options for support at Rose Medical Center.

Baby & Co, Westminster CO - Housed in a beautiful space, the midwives and care offered here is great! They offer classes and well-woman care as well!

Mountain Midwifery  Birth Center-  My first pregnancy was with this birth center, the only one at the time. I switched care at 15weeks and was so grateful for the guidance I had throughout my pregnancy and care. When I transferred birth locations during birth, they were supportive and made sure I was taken care of. They offer out-of-hospital care that is top notch!

Homebirth Midwives:

Tracy Ryan, CNM, MS, CLC: (Denver/Boulder area) If you're seeking someone that not only has amazing experience, but a terrific bedside manner as a midwife, this is that woman! One of the most experienced midwives in the Colorado, Tracy offers not only homebirth support services, she also does well-woman care.  Trust me, she's amazing!

Community Roots Midwifery:  (Longmont/Boulder)  The Community Roots Midwife Collective (CRMC) bringsg accessible, skilled and respectful homebirth and reproductive health care access to the greater Boulder County community. Located in Longmont, these midwives offer compassionate and supportive care, and offer classes in their space.
